Transportation to Medical Appointments

Experienced volunteer drivers will provide seniors and disabled adults with transportation to and from medical appointments. Escort assistance can be provided to ensure that the client arrives in the doctor’s office safely.

A nominal fee will be charged for this very popular service.

Do I qualify for this service ?

Clients must be able to transfer themselves in and out of a car with little difficulty. Volunteers are able to transport clients with canes and walkers, but clients with wheelchairs cannot access this service.

How do I register for this service ?

Seniors and adult disabled living within the former City of Nepean (please see map) may register.

Please place a call for service ONE (1) week in advance of appointment.
